Bidder Identification & Registration
All bidders must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid government-issued identification and a credit/debit card on file with Bid.Wpaa.Net (the card must match the bidder’s name) to participate.
Upon registration/logging into your account to bid on a vehicle, a $300 deposit will be charged to the card on file only if the reserve is met and you are the highest bidder. If you are the winning bidder, your $300 deposit will be applied toward your purchase. An email with instructions will be sent to you following the sale.
Deposits are refundable only if the vehicle was not described properly by the seller, or if a pre‑purchase inspection is completed and the buyer declines the purchase for mechanical reasons. The vehicle will be held for up to three (3) business days after the deposit is charged.
Woodbridge Public Auto Auction reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, whether online or in‑lane, the decision of Woodbridge Public Auto Auction shall be final and binding.
Condition of Vehicles
All vehicles offered for sale are sold AS IS, WHERE IS — with no warranties expressed or implied.
All vehicles have been sent to independent Virginia State Safety Inspection Stations. Some vehicles may have passed inspection, while others may have failed.
Reserve Auction Bidding Process
Reserve auction sales events are provided for buyers who cannot attend live in‑lane auctions. By participating in a reserve auction, both online buyers and in‑lane bidders are legally bound by the same terms and conditions.
By clicking the “Bid” button, you are entering a legally binding sales contract and agreeing to pay your final winning bid price plus the processing fee associated with the purchase price.
All purchase documents will be emailed and must be signed electronically. Any deposit you leave will hold the vehicle for up to three (3) business days. If the balance is not paid within that time, your full deposit will be forfeited and the vehicle will be resold.
All vehicles must be paid in full and picked up within three (3) business days of the purchase date.
Remainder Balance
The remaining balance of your purchase must be paid using one of the following methods:
- Cash
- Cashier’s Check
- Zelle
- Bank Wire Transfer
- Credit/Debit Card (non‑PIN transactions are subject to a 4% fee)
Important:
- Credit or debit cards used for the final balance may only be processed in person, with a government‑issued ID that matches the name on the card.
- No cards will be processed over the phone or online for amounts over $300.
- No dealer‑provided financing is available on any simulcast or in‑lane auction vehicles.
